From hatching eggs, to day old chicks, point of lay & breeding stock available
We know that many people want to hatch their eggs with their children and grow up with their chickens right from hatching. And we realise that in some residential you are not permitted to keep roosters, and therefore we allow customers to return unwanted males to us. We are responsible breeders and there is no fee for this.
Our DEFRA registered flock are regularly handled and well cared for. Please contact us to see what we have available as our numbers regularly change and there is high demand at present. We look forward to hearing from you.

Light Sussex (Large Fowl)
£2.50 per fertile hatching egg, £8 for unsexed day olds, £30 for fully grown hens.
Lovely dual purpose breed, excellent foragers and easy to keep. Photo above is one cockerel and one hen from my breeding group.

Heritage Pure Breed Red Bourbon Turkeys
£3 per fertile hatching egg, £10 for unsexed day olds, £35 breeding female (hen), £50 for a breeding male (stag). A breeding male is the very very best. We raise lots of males every year but only a few are selected to become breeding males. The photo above is the 'matriarch' of our breeding group, on her tree stump lookout!

Pure Breed Buff Orpington Chickens
£2.50 per fertile hatching egg, £8 for unsexed day olds, £30 for fully grown hens
A lovely docile, family friendly breed, known as the 'golden retreiver' of the chicken breeds. If I had to pick just one breed of chicken it would be the Buff Orpington. Super hardy, they practically look after themselves. They even put themselves to bed! They lay lovely cream eggs, and are excellent mothers. Photo is one of last years young pullets.

Pure breed Chocolate Orpingtons
Hatching eggs £2.50 each, unsexed day old chicks £8 each, fully grown hens £30 each. Lovely deep chocolate colour, all the benefits of the orpington breed, but a bit of a special colour! The above photo is a cockerel and a hen from our breeding trio.

English Cuckoo Marans
Hatching eggs £2.50 each, unsexed day old chicks £8 each, fully grown hens £30 each. Very pretty dual purpose breed. The photo is one cockerel and one hen from this years breeding quartet.
